How a spin pays
Five reels, four rows and 14 fixed lines, paying three or more of a kind from the leftmost reel. The line count is worth a note: Bigwinboard’s and roshtein.com’s review texts say 15, while their own data boxes and four other sources say 14. Hacksaw’s in-game rules settle it at 14.
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| The two characters | 2x | 7.5x | 15x |
| Pistol, hat, skull | 1x | 5x | 10x |
| A, K, Q, J | 0.2x | 1x | 3x |
| Wild | – | – | 15x |
As in Wanted, the line pays are small; the big multipliers come from the revolvers and the bonuses. The two FS-style scatters (an FS sheriff’s badge and a BEST OF BONUS star) start the bonuses, and the revolvers do the rest.
Silver and Golden Revolvers
From Hacksaw’s rules, in the base game:
- A Silver or Golden Revolver lands with 1 to 6 bullets and fires them at random positions on the grid.
- Silver: the first hit on a position turns it into a wild. If the position is hit again, a random multiplier is added, turning it into a wild multiplier.
- Golden: a hit makes the position a wild multiplier straight away. Golden Revolvers always fire before Silver ones.
- The multiplier values are 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x and 200x.
- An empty Revolver turns into a wild itself.
Multipliers add, they don’t multiply
When more than one wild multiplier is part of the same win, the rules say their values are added together before being applied. Five skulls on a line pay 10x; if two of those positions are wild multipliers at 10x and 25x, the line pays 10 × 35 = 350x, not 2,500x. It is the same rule as Wanted’s VS reels.
Most Wanted! bonus
Three FS scatters landing together in the base game trigger Most Wanted!, and the game changes completely. Only Revolvers, Reload symbols and blanks land, and six Wanted Posters hang above the grid, each showing a multiplier.
- Two kinds of poster. Adding posters show 2x up to 500x. Multiplying posters show x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20.
- Revolvers shoot the posters. Each bullet that hits a poster adds its value to the Revolver’s total, or multiplies the total by it, until the Revolver is empty. A Silver Revolver then locks its final value where it landed and stays there until the end.
- Golden Revolvers boost every locked value. A Golden Revolver’s total is added to every locked Silver Revolver and Reload value on the grid, and it disappears on the next spin. In this bonus, Golden Revolvers fire last.
- Reload collects the multipliers of locked Silver Revolvers (the rules say “on the reel”; review sites read it as every one on the grid) and reloads them with 1 to 6 new bullets, which fire at once.
- Three lives. Each life is a spin, and all three refill whenever a Revolver or Reload lands. The bonus ends when three spins pass with neither, or straight away if the grid fills up.
At the end, the locked Revolver values and Reload values are added up and multiplied by the bet.

That round ended with an “Epic Win” of $366,180, about 12,206x the $30 bet, in his clip on this site. The stream’s overlay is dated 3 January 2024, the day before the official release; An article dated 18 December 2023 describes Roshtein and Drake premiering it on Stake.
Shootin’ Wild! bonus
Four FS scatters give Shootin’ Wild!, 10 free spins that play like the base game with one change: every wild that carries a multiplier sticks to the grid until the bonus ends. More scatters add spins, 2 for two FS and 4 for three. The buy menu, as Bigwinboard reports it, labels it extreme volatility.
Best of Bonus
If a BEST OF BONUS scatter lands at the same time as the FS scatters, you get the best-of version: three full Most Wanted! rounds (with three FS) or three full Shootin’ Wild! rounds (with four FS). Each result goes on a scoreboard, and only the highest is paid. You do not get the sum.
The buy menu suggests this smooths the outcome: it labels Best of Most Wanted! medium volatility, against high for a single Most Wanted!. Hacksaw’s CEO says the feature was “previously seen” in Chaos Crew II, and Bigwinboard says it debuted in Chaos Crew 2.
RTP and volatility
| RTP | Casino keeps | Average cost of 1,000 × $1 spins |
|---|---|---|
| 96.25% (default) | 3.75% | $37.50 |
| 94.15% | 5.85% | $58.50 |
| 92.14% | 7.86% | $78.60 |
| 88.25% | 11.75% | $117.50 |
Unusually, Hacksaw’s own page for 2 Wild 2 Die has never shown an RTP, in any archived version we found. The four figures come from the review sites, which agree with each other, and the UK operator MrQ runs the 94.15% version. The game’s rules screen states the version you are playing.
Bigwinboard rates the volatility 5 out of 5, and Hacksaw’s own slots list shows a full five-bar meter, though that same list also shows five bars for Wanted, whose own page says four. A win lands on about one spin in four.

| Best of Shootin’ Wild! | 400x | Three Shootin’ Wild! rounds, best one paid | Very high | 96.30% | 14.80x |
Hacksaw’s rules say the two FeatureSpins options stay switched on, charging their price on every spin, until you press Disable. SlotCatalog says the buy menu is not offered in the UK, and MrQ’s UK page shows no buy option.
Max win and big wins
The cap is 15,000x the bet. Hacksaw’s rules say it can be reached in every game mode, and that hitting it ends the round at once, with any free spins left discarded. How the cap interacts with the best-of-three scoreboard is not spelled out. Bigwinboard, AboutSlots and SlotCatalog put the odds at about 1 in 6 million.
- Roshtein, $2,542,500 in one spin, reported by roshtein.com on 25 December 2023, while playing with “a special bonus feature activated which bumped the bet to an amazing $50,000 per spin”. The same site’s game page lists his personal best on the game as $184,440 at a $300 bet, so its two figures contradict each other.
- Wymzi, $6,519.60 from a $0.60 spin (10,866x), in VegasSlotsOnline’s Big Win Wednesday of 16 July 2025.
- FrankDimes, $366,180 at $30 (about 12,206x), the Most Wanted! round shown above.
Several YouTube videos from late December 2023 and early January 2024 are titled 15,000x max wins, but none we found names the player or the bet, so we don’t list them.

Hacksaw’s CEO, Marcus Cordes, told AboutSlots that “while 2 Wild 2 Die isn’t a direct sequel, it does incorporate foundational elements from the Wanted Dead or a Wild theme”, and that the idea came from wanting “to expand on the success of Wanted Dead or a Wild”. Bigwinboard put it more simply: “This ain’t the studio’s first Western rodeo.”
Its look leans realistic, a burning saloon and a gunslinger in loose, poster-style brushwork. Bigwinboard later said the 2024 slot Duel at Dawn is visually “closer to 2 Wild 2 Die than Wanted”.
